Driver seat cushion popping off clip

Just revisiting this, how did you guys go about putting the metal clips on? I tried clipping them onto the plastic first then going about trying to clip it onto the seat but it doesn't wanna clip cause it end up being so tight lol. I'm not sure if I'm just doing it wrong?

Finally tacked this today! I ordered the clips a couple years ago, better late than never. lol

What a PITA! Tip... you'll need to slightly expand the metal clips so they slide over the plastic retention clips and remove the seats so you aren't twisted like a pretzel.

Gave it a little interior detail since I was in there. So fresh and clean, ready for the next Starbucks run!

It’s actually Race Deck and I’ve had it for a little over 10 years now. Easy to clean or replace and covers up the crap professionally installed epoxy I had done. I’d classify my use as light to medium duty that includes using my Quickjacks on them regularly without issue.
