Passengers have to pull the door handle twice to open their door. I learned there is a TSB 44244 that addresses this. I learned this from the F150 forum. There's a DIY fix but I'm under warranty so I'm taking mine into to the dealer for a door latch assembly replacement.

Just wanted to share. :banana-mario:

Good idea, ZBoater; let me know how the trip to the dealer goes. If you need any help, I'll be here. :)

I have the same issue with my wifes Mustang on the drivers door... completely annoying.

Have you taken the 'Stang to the dealer, Scott13? Even though it isn't a Raptor I'll still be able to check out ways to help. What's the model year/mileage?

I took mine in for it last fall. Still did it after going to the dealer. Interestingly, it stopped doing it all winter when it was cold. Recently, it just started happening again.

My did it too, I took it to the dealership and they fixed it. I believe they replaced the handle assembly. (sorry, not sure) It was on the drivers side door and was super annoying. Since I had it in the dealership it is good as new.

Take them into the dealer. This is a known problem. It happened on my wife's '13 platinum and they replaced the entire door mechanism.

First time they tried to just adjust it, but that didn't work so they replaced it and haven't had another problem since.
