I can see them just putting whatever synthetic they have in their pull down hose in there.

It wouldn't matter anyways.  As long as it's a full synthetic oil- you can run nearly anything in that engine and it'd be fine, assuming you aren't ragging on it for hours at a time on a 110 degree day.
