Yep when i converted to alcon brakes on my 10 , I had to buy the 2011 and up parking brake assemblies . Over $400 dollars. Alcon doesn't mention that in their advertising or webpage . lucky i read the directions a few weeks before doing job and saw the 2010's need it or alcon rotors wont fit .I had to pull axles to remove brake assemblies . Also i understand pinion bearings and splines are different with 2011 and up .

So his truck didn’t have the ELD stock?

Can he just give that axle plug 12v (perhaps from aux switches) and have fully manual lockers?

this seems like a bonus.
Oh, I have no idea on that. I was just saying that is what the plug on the housing is. Pretty cool if true though.

All Raptors have E-Locker diffs.
So, I don't know what is going on with that???
@Kramer29163
And no, you can't just hot wire the diff, you'll burnout the magnet.
But you can buy a kit to to hookup to a uplifter or tie into the pull knob.

Would you happen to know what the output of the wire coming from the pull know?

As in could you use it to either directly power an aftermarket (say Eaton) ELD or use it to trigger a relay?

I don t think you can wire it direct to switch. I remember checking a truck a while back that was not working. the module sends full voltage to engage it then shorter duty cycle voltage to keep it engaged.

Yes it ties into a uplifter switch.

All it does is send the right voltages just like the PCM would.
There is another thread with a different product but does the same thing.
Just can't find it using the forum search.
