Diff Fluid?

Just got my new diff cover. what diff fluid would you suggest? I was thinking 75w-110, but unsure what brand would be good.

I used amsoil 75w90 w/ ford performance diff, filled it to the top hole, did this @ 20k....realistically probably shouldn’t have to do it again, but w/ the easy drain diff probably will every 30k

gives excuse for rooster tails/burnouts

Is your truck lifted? I’m not 100% certain, but I recall seeing a video, and reading here bottom hole was for stock height, top for lifted.

Curious about the correct method, because I’m about to do mine.

I believe you are correct - more oil in the diff is not a good thing.

Yep you’re correct. Top hole is for lifted trucks and bottom hole is for stock height.

Too much won’t hurt that’s why they have burp valves
