Hello all,

I searched and searched but here is the background. I believe I may have come up with what could be the issue but have not verified it yet

Recently had my 2018 Ford Raptor in for 100K service. Oil pan, Transmission flush and rear end fluid change. I got the truck back a few hundred miles ago (all city driving) until this weekend. I went on the highway on a 100 mile trip. This is where it all went south. I was on the highway doing roughly 75MPH and all of a sudden I noticed some loss of power and then within a few seconds the transmission sounded like it was slipping and then slammed back into gear (Felt like I ran something over). I then proceeded on in hopes it was just a minor glitch in the TCM. Well within the next 10 minutes it did it again. When I felt it coming I looked down at my gauges and noticed when it did it I saw the gear indicator go from 10th gear, to 1st and then back to 10th within 1-2 seconds. This is when another large slipping and clunk back into gear happened.

Since this was the first time on the highway since the transmission flush, I can only assume something happened during the flush as before that I never had issues at highway speeds. I have been doing a lot of searching around and what I came up with and hoping to confirm here is the level that the fluid is in the transmission after the flush. I have seen that the 10R80's have a few different dipstick styles and read that the raptor should be filled between the 5 and 6 on the dipstick. I am really hoping that the tech may have overfilled the fluid and maybe they were uncertain how far up the dipstick the fluid should be. At city driving it seems fine but a huge issue at this highway speed. Once I have the dealership look it over I will update this thread but if I can confirm with anyone here that might know if this is fact true, the dipstick should be filled between the 5 and 6 I will let the dealership know. Thank you and hope this helps others
