if it’s not practical to fly up / drive back, and 12 hours one way is definitely a downer, then you should tell them the deal’s off the table and shop elsewhere. It may be they have another, better interested party and don’t want to sell you the truck, they want to sell to a rube who will pay more. I would not buy a Rap sight unseen or undriven, but that’s me.
