After putting 35 inch tires on my 2011 screw, I had some minor rubbing. The "shop" that did the wheels and tires here in TN said that they did everything from suspension upgrades to engine replacements. I decided to just let them install a ReadyLift leveling kit and bring my mid-perch back down to stock. After about 6 hours (rediculous), it was ready for me to pickup. As soon as I got home I started inspecting and apparently they didn't back out the set screw on the collar of the front Fox shocks. It looks like they either beat it down over the clip ring or just allowed the springs to force the collar down, cutting a nice deep gouge down the outside of the shock housing.

Aside from the fact that it looks awful (and that many of the lines and wires that connect to the hub were just left hanging around the suspension), do you guys think that there would be any issues with the functioning of the shocks/suspension? This is my daily driver and I don't want any saftey issues (now or in the long term). I'm going back to the shop today and will push for them to replace them, but figured I'd throw the question up here as well.

Not the first housing I've seen gouged like that because the set screw either didn't get backed out or was seized and couldn't be back out. Besides the gouge, I've never seen it cause a safety issue/problem.

But if the leveling kit consist of a spacer on top of the spring tower it will allow excessive down travel.
Possible problems: UCA contacting the spring; upper ball joint binding (damaging ball joint or braking spindle); in 4x4 damaging CV joints.
