Cut frame pics

I'm getting ready to install my lex mega bumper but not sure exactly on the angle cut... Jason at Lex said to cut 5 inches back from the frame horn but others have said they had to cut and angle... Just curious if anyone had some pics or exact measurements?

This is the video I used when I installed my SVC bumper. This is the only video I know of and I would think Lex would provide a template if it was different.

I believe RPG and SVC had theirs cut on an angle so it could be welded back on to return to stock. Perhaps LEX just requires a verticle cut 5" back. Just call or email LEX, they would know best.

I have talked with Jason and he says just a straight cut is all that's needed, but two of the local guys here have told me that it needs an angled cut as well... And they had Gordon help so you know it was probably right if Gordon had them angle cut it

Do as Jason says and if you have trouble fitting the relocation bracket on (which you will) just progressively cut the angle at the bottom until you get it on.

Sounds good Jeremiah, but where do you stop? I mean you can grind and grind but without measurements it's all basically a guess... That's the only thing I wish he had was an exact measurement like the rpg where it's 4" and then 1 1/4" back etc
