Custom Transmission Tuning
I’m a little be newer to this forum but not new to EcoBoost tuning. I wanted to give you guys an idea of what can be done transmission tuning wise with HP tuners. I’ve been working with the 10r80 since I came out in 2017 and my transmission tuning has come a long way.
With the 10r80 you can have up to 3 separate transmission “profiles” in the same tune and a shift schedule and TCC lock schedule specific for each drive mode.
I have created 3 profiles that can be used in my custom tunes
Normal mode -close to stock but slightly modified.
Sport+ -Much quicker shift but still very comfortable.
Drag/race- Very aggressive and fast shifts
These profiles can be customized and assigned to any drive mode on the raptor. What is nice is that fact that you can have a pretty stock feel in normal and tow haul mode and much more agressive shifting in other modes.
I didn’t realize I couldn’t attach videos so here is the link to the video. This is a none raptor crew cab f150 that 11.59 at 116 mph, but the trans tune profiles are the same for the most part.
