why did they block off the oil squirters for the pistons?

They break the nozzle tubes in these applications and end up in
oil tube screen. Many people will argue about the pros and cons; but at my compression I don't require them.
The design and coatings of my pistons are sufficient to deal with overheating and eliminate and pre ignition issues.
