I was driving my 2019 Gen 2 with the cruise control turned 'on' and using the feature periodically on the interstate. All good. Until it turned itself off or I changed a setting in the menu which caused it to turn off.

Now nothing happens when you press the Cruise 'On-Off' button on the steering wheel. The Cruise logo light on the dash does not come on and you cannot ingauge Cruise control.

I went into the menu files on the dash and under Cruise Control, Normal and Adaptive options are 'greyed out', they can't be selected.

Any experience with this or suggestions on how to reactivate the Cruise control?

Please elaborate and clarify.

Normally I’d go to “check for diagnostic trouble codes” but see above. it’s not making enough sense.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. Tomorrow I want to write down the number of items that are greyed out in the menu for the Cruise Control and advanced sensors, so I can give you guys more detail.
Before that, I hope to clean the forward camera and see if I can get lucky with a large bug on the lense causing my issues.

Also, if the sun is really bright into the camera it will turn off. So if you were driving off into the sunset that could have been an issue.

Just clean the lens with a microfiber and go for a drive.

Unfortunately it wasn't the camera lense, I cleaned it and it was clear as a bell.
So the following are snap shots of what I am seeing in the menu on the dash.
1st. Upon startup these are the 2 popup warnings.

Once I hit the OK button these clear.
The following are the layers of menus that are all 'greedy out' meaning you can not select them or if you can drill down to the next menu the next page is grayed out.

Notice I can not select Adaptive.

I'll add more pics on my next post as I'm limited to pics per post.

Do you have a factory bumper?

It appears that you might have a bad radar sensor thing. Use forscan and check for codes. Or take it to the dealer if you have an extended warranty.

NEX, Thanks. I'm actually not sure if the bumper is factory or aftermarket. I'll post a pic and maybe you can help me answer that question.
I will need to take it to the deal for that scan. but the weird thing is that the CC was working wonderfully for multiple hours on Friday, right until it wasn't.
