So with the short block upgrades, stage 1 will support up to 700 RHP, which is around 850 at the crank. The stage two does a bit more.

Is this mainly for people that blow out their engines and need a rebuild? Please forgive my ignorance.

Thats what i did is blow my motor so I figured if I'm going to replace it I might as well get a little bit more hp/torque and the stage 2 is rated at 1000 RWHP. So I should be good to go now. When in Rome!

Do we know what kind of power the rest of the factory drivetrain will support?

Probably don't wanna go past 520+ rwhp That seems to be the safety zone area where guys stop. If they don't then you're getting a 4.2 stroker lol

not true.

there are guys in the wild in the 600RWHP range. It is very much in the tune, the torque down low, and the skill of the tuner.

Based on what data?

there is at least several trucks I know of that have piled significant mileage on some pretty hefty rear wheel horsepower north of 550 and are doing fine. I don’t know many that have been wrecked.



im sure it will support it but just won't last too long
