Corsa sport extreme

Hello Everyone

Just installed corsa sport catback on my gen2 along with extreme resonator delete.
Installation was pretty much straight forward even without lift or Jack stands.

My problem is, cold started my truck and I was shocked how loud the set up is even though it tones down a bit after couple of minutes.

Don't get me wrong, sounds awesome but not with neighbors around.

The question is, if I re-install the stock resonator
Am I going to achieve a quieter start up?

Nope - make sure you keep your stock exhaust handy!

Re-installed the OEM resonator.
Sounds perfect

I'm curious why you would adjust your exhaust tone to suit your neighbors? I mean, unless you live in a neighborhood with extreme CCR rules (I would suggest moving) I can't see why a vehicle's exhaust system would be an issue with your neighbors?

I get you, I live in an apartment complex configuration.
Too loud isn't an option for me although it sounded awesome.
After going back to OEM resonator, it's still loud but not as the extremes.

Just giving my opinion for people in similar situations.

Gotcha! I was gonna say, tell those neighbors to F off but I get it. Glad you got it to work! Now just put it in manual mode, 1st gear when you leave every morning! Cheers!

I wonder how my my neighbors feel when I cold start my heads/cam/intake/headers C5Z w/ no cats ....on 2nd thought nope don’t care

Nah, I'm good with my neighbors but I dislike people who have unreasonable expectations. If by starting my Raptor once every morning bothers someone then the issue is with them not the Raptor. Thus, I would never appease someone who thinks that way. I would also pray for them if they ever decided to bring it up in a discussion.
