10-4. Another guy in Houston said that he loved the zero drone, but at times the Corsa sounded quieter than stock and he was looking at removing the resonator.

It is louder than stock but not as loud as other systems out there. Outside the truck you will obviously hear the exhaust better. I noticed that this truck already has pretty good sound proofing in the cab and some loud engine noise so I can see how some people would prefer a louder system. For me this is perfect, it comes down to preferences.

Well, at the next HARO event (hopefully you can make it) I wanna hear the setup.

I'm now convinced that running the tips adds more volume to the exhaust note. I have the same Corsa system but dumped after the axle and my system at cold start is way quieter than that. Hopefully removing the resonator pumps it up a bit.

How hard was it to install? My extreme black tip kit comes in tomorrow? Any special tools needed?
Thanks
JR

installed mine in my garage on saturday - kept the stock resonator. Love the sound - gets better the more miles are put on it - especially like it over 4000 rpm!

as far as the black tips - just take the ones that came with it and take them off - scuff them up and paint them with high-temp header paint, or get them jet-hot coated. will cost far less than getting new ones.

It really is a piece of cake. I would, however, recommend getting a small cordless impact from lowes or home depot. Good to have in the truck anyways. That and a small socket set with some extensions and your good.
