allow me to expand. Can you go into a gun store, purchase a handgun, pass a background check and go home with it? In NY and other c0mmie states we can't. Oh, we can buy it. Then it's time to fill out an amendment form, submit it to the county clerk with a check for $25 (was $3) and wait and wait and wait until it goes to a judge who signs off, sends back to the clerk who eventually sends it back to me/us. That takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. Yep, it's infringement but it can always be worse.
