I recently purchased a Smittybilt Comp air tank with roll bar mount. My original plan was to install the tank standing vertically and securing it using L tracks to the bedsides. Well my lack of fabrication skills it just wasn't going to work that well. I decided to go this route. I bought these L track studs which are rated at 1600 lbs each and bolted them directly to the roll bar mount. The only problem with doing it this way is you cant use the tank laying down. So every time I need to use it I will have to pull the tank out and stand it up to use it.

You can find the studs here: Sure-Lok | FE200744 | L-Track Stud Fitting | Wheelchair Straps

I always take the tank out to fill tires. I just got the bar mount too but haven't figured a good place to put it yet.

Me too. Have the mount but not sure where to mount it yet. I am thinking bed side at a slight angle but need to figure out brackets and exact location. If anyone else has pictures or mount ideas I would love to see them

Make sure to take it out when you use it or it will syphon liquid co2 out. Also put the guard back on last thing you want is a 2000psi rocket in your bed when something falls on it.
