color matching vents

Has anyone tried color matching the vents on the hood and fenders?

I own a white one, and wouldn't consider it.

I would color match the fenders now that my rims are different. But NEVER match the side or hood vents. Those make the raptor look so good. Why hide them?

I think they're referring to just the fender flares and not the actual fender.

i had my SVT fender vents color matched tuxedo black but it didn't look as good as i thought it would so i painted them matte black. sorry i don't have any pictures.

I'm thinking about painting the fender vents and fender flares a metallic gray color. Almost same color as the plastic but painted. Keeps the contrast, but nice and shiny and can wax it all at once.

I want my bumpers, flares, and door handles body color. I'd like to have the vents black with the SVT red (so the letter part looks red)
