I run an AFE. Came with a metal insert for the crank case vent to help prevent CEL's. I think it sounds good and I like being able to clean the filter regularly.

You don't need to have a CAI for a tune. However, if you want a CAI and you're planning on a tune, the COBB Stage 1+ Kit should check the boxes nicely.

The kit is $995 delivered to your door. If the parts were purchased separately, they'd be $675 and $395. However, with the package savings, that effectively makes the CAI $320.

I went with the Airaid CAI. It sounds good, looks good and easy install. I honestly chose this brand because I didnt hear anything negative and I found it super cheap. The only issue during install was the included pigtail extension didnt work because 2019 went with a different style plug to the air intake temp sensor. Less than a minute and no cost fix was to release the factory wiring from the holders so it would reach the sensor. This doesnt add power alone but will compliment my IC and tune.

I went with JLT because I have used their products before on my Shelby, looks great and sounds awesome. May not add any horsepower, but it does make the turbos louder and who doesn’t want that?!? Also looks cool under the hood.

Another note, don’t take out the “silencer rings” my check engine would come on pretty mush instantly when I removed them, not sure why, my buddy has stock intake with them removed and no problems lol

Also have their catch can and coolant resi cover.

:doublepuke:... looks look you just left Pep Boys.

These things are silly. I can’t believe they are getting $300-$400 for plastic or
metal tubes and a box that are similar “but different” than what is already on the vehicle.

I got the Cobb intake only because it was part of the Stage II package. If buying ala carte, I would have left it off the order.

I see a lot of others buying unnecessary, silly stuff, like stubby antennae’s, led reverse lights and housings, etc. Not sure why the CAI gets such a bad rap on the Silly Mod List.
