Looking for just a small power boost. I’m not getting any bolt ons. Is the Cobb (w/OTS maps) worth it, if the most I’ll do is run 93 octane ?
thanks
I’m running the Cobb stage 1+ with their intake on 93. I think it’s worth it. I don’t have time to go datalog and mess with all that so it suits me fine.
I know how to do it, I’ve tuned my own cars for years. I just have two small kids and I’d rather spend my limited free time on other things.Datalogging was very easy, and I’ve spent very little time behind a computer during my life. Seriously, a caveman could figure it out if I did.
Mostly idiots but yes... I've had a few tunes and now I have goosetuned. By far the best my truck has felt. I can't really say how much better than a cobb canned tune though, although you do get those if you go with goose. The real difference with goose vs the other guys is that he has you flog the snot out of the truck while logging this way he can really custom tailor the parameters to you specifically.Everyone thinks their tune is the best...
I just got my truck tuned by @GooseTuned (with TCM) and it was worth every penny and more. I’m almost afraid to drive a stock Raptor now for fear of what I’ll think of the truck.
Go to his website and check out the options. You will not regret it, his customer service puts 5 star hotels to shame. I just bought a t shirt and stickers for the first time there just as a small thanks for his work, normally I don’t advertise for anyone, ever.
