A few areas like the rear axle and other cast iron parts were "lightly" painted from the factory and starting to rust already when I took delivery. Should I repaint them first before spraying MPHD or just blast the whole undercarriage? I drove the truck a week or so in some rain so there is some road sand here and there. Should I wash it down good first? I'm just worried all the water will cause more rust on "unpainted" areas and the moisture will  cause adhesion problems with the MPHD.
