Clear Bra on Rear Bumper

Anyone notice the clear bra on the front edge of both ends of the rear bumper? The ends of the bumper facing the rear tires? Good idea and I just noticed this morning.

I haven't even washed my truck yet, I'm sure once I get "up close & personal" with a sponge bath (actually wool mit bath lol) I'll start noticing those little things.

Ford has been doing that for years. Just a little extra protection from rock chips. But once it starts peeling off, or gets some dirt under a tiny corner, you can just peel it off.
