Did not realize that MPT was in my back yard and I called them this morning to check the availability on schedule to tune my 2019 Raptor.

They mentioned they need to have a truck to come in that is stock to see what differences there will be. Apparently there were some software differences between 2017 to 2018. That meant there might be some differences from 2018 to 2019.

I am hoping to find out soon since by far the worse thing about an F150 is the auto start/stop. I have it right now in my Shelby F150 and if I had a ForScan I would shut it off. My 2017 Raptor had the 5Star tune on it and I am excited to report back what the differences are that I can feel.

for $99 you can get a module to disable the auto start/stop from 4Dtech. They should have them ready for the 2019's by the end of this week. Versions for earlier trucks are available.

If it were me, I'd go ahead and buy the $30 tool and download ForScan for free to code it out. There are a bunch of other neat changes to make with ForScan as well, such as the Lincoln mirrors and DRL.

Where does one purchase the tool and what is the process of making the changes? I would like to turn off the start/stop, have the mirrors fold and truck turned off, etc. thank ou

Spoke to MPT today and they asked me to bring my Raptor by to see what the differences might be. JR seemed confident that if their computer would read the stock file without any problems that they would be able to tune it.

I will keep you all posted and what differences that I can see over stock and the 5Star tune I used to have with my 2017 Raptor.

I ordered a tune from MPT for my 2019 without thinking. They sent the nGauge, and said they would let me know when they had the tunes sorted out, so I'm impatiently waiting. :banghead:
