Cheap Anchor Points

Inspired by a thread in the Gen 1 section of the forum, I recently picked up some D-rings from DC Cargo Mall for $12 on Amazon, drilled them out to fit our bed bolts, and installed this weekend. I'll report back on how they hold up over time. Pictures below are before/after/installed. Ignore the punctured spare and the temporary straps...

Based on the picture on of that D-ring, it looks like there is not enough room for the head of the bed bolts to sit flush. Does it require some grinding on section holding the ring?

What is the load rating for these, it doesn't say on the website?

Upon further investigation, it appears the Dodge/Mopar rings require some grinding: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f264/bed-bolt-tie-down-install-54540/

Still haven't found anything about load limits.

All you have to do for the bed bolts to fit is lightly file down the lip on the bolt by the washer, does not take much for it to fit. Basically file the lip a bit until you can slid the washer off, then slide the d-ring on and the washer afterwards. The head of the bolt pushes a bit against the d-ring so it keeps it snug and not flopping around when nothing is tied down to it.

I am considering trying these out for my other four bed bolts. A quick note: they are not "cheaper," $46 shipped vs $12 shipped for four D-rings.

Probably going to order through local Ram dealership.
