Message: <blockquote data-quote="soundman98" data-source="post: 161963" data-attributes="member: 4543">you can't change them easily.  according to my 2011 auto show closeup pics,  there are about 2-4 led's and they are either plcc2 or plcc4 led's mounted to a white pcb.  they appear to be snap-fit to the truck, and between the installation method and the type of led's used, i would expect that it would be perma-sealed(like the headlights) so you would need to dremel the housings open just to gain access to the led's.the second issue your going to run into is the difference in forward voltage-- red/yellow led's have a lower forward voltage then white or blue led's.there is a possibility you could swap them(if the led's use a heatsink design, you better brush up on your hotplate skills-- that's going to be the only way to remove them) and they could just work, but it is unlikely--from fords led tails used on the mustang, i believe they would have a dedicated driver circuit that might not be very happy powering white led's.  which means that you will  need to custom build every 'pod' yourself, or find someone else that will do it for you..so, time for you to stop by the led section at hidplanet.com so you can learn all of this <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite2" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=";)" /></blockquote>
