I made a dummy lighter plug and use the socket on the passenger side. That way the CB mic is within reach, or I can remove the plug-in and stow it and the mic.

:dancingpoop: I would also like to find out what would be the best way to approach a Cobta 75 install on the Raptor?

:hat: Also, if possible, information regarding the Antenna install as well as any product suggestions for the antenna would be very thankful!!!

:emotions133: BTW, I am very new to the radio game. . .although, I do aspire to get comfortable enough to get into HAM radio at some point in the near future.

:biggun: Anyways, thanks in advance!!!

:hmm:Hmmm, time to consolidate all these 2-way radio threads to 1 thread.

I've seen :birgits_tiredcoffeeCB, FRS, GMRS, HAM/AMATEUR, and it seems like :think:a mutitude of others.

There are many pictures here on the forum about the 2-way radio subject ... if one is able to access the right thread.

Time to :weld: together.

I will say, after owning many cb's and the cheap two way radios, the ICOM and even the handheld ham radios are the SHIT! Crystal clear reception, super range even in hills, and it makes driving with another vehicle quite fun and enjoyable.
