Looks like it'd be sturdy enough for grocery bags or dry cleaning but not for anything of any heft... Kinda like putting a flowered basket on a Harley.

they definitely dont look robust enough. i wouldnt try them. unless you are using it to store stuff while driving on the street

Why not just pick up a second hand bed extender and throw some plastic storage containers in there for that?
