Gents, I bought my 2019 GEN 2 a few months ago after driving around 10 used raptors.. its more of a mall crawler truck but i enjoy the hell out of it!! What caught my eye on this truck was all the crazy mods. it had 38k miles and so many upgrades to list from HIDDEN ZEON winch, 4k upgrade pro sound system, wheels tires, FULL raptor packages, COBB intercooler, cold intake, programer,,etc,etc.. plus it was the best driving use one i had drove --even without the tunes which i removed before service at ford still drives better than the other used ones..
HOWEVER WHATS has bothers me for a few months and i almost did not buy it was TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY THE ORIGINAL OWNER CUT OUT A PLASTIC HOLE right next to the LIGHTS SWITCH... I could not understnad why he would cut a dam hole in a raptor that he had about 100k into new with all upgrades.. The BMW dealership that sold it to me did not know either..... The COBB had a holder, THE RIGID LIGHTS were wired to the switches above the head, the winch is wireless , the rolln lock is not electric... THE XL POWER STEP plug into the OBC.. SO why in the world would he open a hole in the dash???
only idea was maybe he had a WHY CONNECTOR ON THE OBC -- one side for the STEPS and other side for the COBB??? .. The dealership actually order me a new cobb because they misplaced theoriginal and they put a WHY CONNECT OBC inside the dash-- just can understnad what this hole was for.. I ended up buying a PIECE OF CARBON fiber and covered the hole.. ANy ideas wuld be great! Thanks!!
