Can a 2023 stil be ordered?

I'm ready to trade my 2018. Trying to locate a 2023, silver, Recaro seats, tail gate applique, and NO MOONROOF!.

They can't be ordered, but dealers are still flush with 2023s around the country. CarGurus, Autotrader, and AutoTempest your way to victory.

The Recaros look great on the silver truck, but hard to find in my experience. I’m sure you can track one down, but chances are strong it’ll have a moonroof. Good luck with the hunt, the Gen 3 is worth it!

A big part of why I'm looking is because of the sunroof leak. 2x fixed by dealer, once by me. It's a pain. No longer under warranty.

I'd even consider a slightly pre-owned .

your chances of landing a no-moonroof Raptor without ordering it are less than 2% mathematically speaking. Stealerships don’t generally order base model or lesser optioned trucks, as they’re not as profitable. I don’t have exact numbers, but I searched laboriously back in 2017, looking at over 200 trucks. I found exactly 1 truck in transit to a stealership in southern MD that had no moonroof. Other years have been similar.

If you can find a gently preowned silver ‘23 with Recaros you should jump on it. That’s as close as you’re going to get. The Recaros are rare to begin with, and I’ve yet to see them on a truck without a sunroof.

This is true. I had my sights set on this truck for a little while - though it has a moonroof, and not sure how you feel about the graphics:

I'll add that Gen3 sunroofs do not seem to be nearly as problematic as Gen2. At least the Gen3 folks are not talking about it on here if it is happening. My Gen2 rattled all the time. Not a peep out my Gen3 in more than 30,000 miles. And, that is with no preventative maintenance.

Same here. Approaching 35K, no maint., and not a peep.
