Just got this email, but im confirmed built and not on any holds and scheduled to ship in the next week. So confused now.
Same build week…Got the same email yesterday. Called Ford today - truck was built 11/05 but is now on chip-hold. Estimated date of Nov 18-25….but the rep said to expect probably at least 6-8 weeks after that.

I think some of the current confusion is that they are telling people “Nov 21-25” but that is often for chip hold release, not delivery.

My dealer still thinks I will get my truck that week. But I’m not counting on it. Blend 10/27

Help me out here... is anyone not in Dearborn anymore... shipped, in transit but confirmed chip hold? I assume chip hold means your still at or near plant and truck hasn't shipped yet at all, right? Offsite is a weird term here.

You wouldn't be in transit if the truck wasn't done. I asked for clarification from Ford customer service, and the offsite is a temporary storage until the part comes in for completion they also say it was an upfitter (no idea what that is). They said its estimated delivery is still 11/21 but if its not done thats not happening. Granted I'm not far from Dearborn but who knows how many other stops the convoy will need to make on its way to my dealer.

Agreed. I don’t expect mine until February anyway. We’ll see once the first person gets there chip-hold truck.

I wonder if it’s the upfitter switches?

Mine is also 11/21 but I assume it won’t happen
