Well no holds is good news at least. I have a feeling you're just 1 or 2 days behind mine.

Did you just chat with them on ford.com?

Yup I'm hoping so too.

Yeah just used the tracker link and started a chat with them. They dont know to much specifics as it just customer relations. Good to know tho I'm not on any holds at the moment.

My Tear Tag code showed up today on the modules page. What does that mean again?

Also noticed that the Ford tracker officially filled in the production date with 11/2. Still no checked box, but at least there's a date there now and not just the filled in circle.

AND I noticed in my Ford App that there is now an "Activate Vehicle" option in the Home Screen. Assuming that means truck is built and has power...
Tear tag is essentially the designation for your PCM and usually means your truck is built and awaiting final inspection. Once that’s up and powered you get the formal activate vehicle button and the truck will populate in the app.

I think that the tracker is not up to date and isn’t showing the true status right now. Im not sure if Ford is doing this on purpose, because of holds…but after me reading a lot online and talking with the dealer…that’s my take on it.

@MattR Thanks for the background. Is your truck still stuck in the "in production" limbo land?

Just spoke with my dealer and he advised that truck shows as "built and sent offsite" so he's assuming chip hold is coming.
