Build Week 10/24/2022

Spoke with my dealer today and the date has been pushed out to 12/9-12/15 for delivery to the dealer. Truck is in Illinois. From there it heads to green bay by pack mule, lol. Been trying to sell our 2013 raptor. Not as easy as I thought it would be. All three parties who expressed interest in it before it was ever for sale passed on it. Gonna take it in the shorts if I gotta trade it in.

Traded mine in about 7-8 weeks ago, leased a truck for a month, now sharing wife’s car, that is getting Old. Didn’t want to lose any more trade in value for tax benefit. We are all in same boat….

It would be much easier if I could say “I can sell it to you on Dec 1” rather than “I’ve been waiting since March and my ETA is 12/14 but it’s been pushed back six time”

It's all some sort of algorithm to get trucks built...and doesn't always work out in the customer's favor.

Update on mine- Ford and Union Pacific are still saying truck is in IL but VinView just messaged me saying it's in Pearland TX which is my final rail destination before convoy to LA.

Mine shows build complete, now just waiting for it to get shipped to the dealership.

Cross my fingers; hopefully I’ll get to see it soon.

Dealer confirmed it's on site and going over for pre-delivery prep. Could be in the driveway by weekend. What a journey.

Congratulations!! I just got updated today to “Built” on the tracker. Hopefully it won’t be too long to get it shipped!

Delivering it to the house tomorrow at 2:30. For credit was a little high (5.09%) but I can easily refi when we get closer to normalcy. Changed my name on site.

Some signs of life I think.....

10/26 went into Built status and has been in "Awaiting Shipment" ever since.
Have periodically tried to activate the Ford Pass app and continued to get errors until TODAY!! Now it says "Activation Pending, Just start your vehicle and accept the invitation" So looks like something has changed in the last 24 hours
