Broken sway bar

Has anyone broken a front sway bar? Not the end links, the bar itself snapped at the frame mount. Now, ive had plenty of vehicles with sway bars, and i can say this has never happened to me before.

Rust? But if that snaps from rust id be more concerned with other stuff now.

Up side is some people run without one lol

Ill get some pics when i get home. There was some rust, but not enough to me to warrant breakage. But you never know

probably the same type of situation with a small fracture, rust intrusion and then crack...

wow.. so it broke inside the bushing? slide the other side bushing down and lets see it too..
