Ok, so the title was a bit of clickbait BUT I did break the truck and was completely freaked out.
I picked the truck up last Monday, on Saturday just past I was on a highway with my friend and I stomped on the gas, We hear a 'POP', lose all kinds of power, and the truck throws a wrench up on the screen.

He starts laughing, I was not laughing.

I dump him off and take the truck home to read the codes, p0299 & P1548. An underboost code and an airflow restriction. I reset them just cause I could and take the truck around the block to see if it was a transient thing, but nope, the underboost comes back and the truck goes into a limp mode. I park it until this morning when I get it to the dealer.

3 hours pass and the dealer calls me to tell me it's fixed, some sort of flow tube has popped off and that was what I heard, codes are cleared and I can come to get it.

So it's fixed. apparently not super serious but super annoying, due to the need to park it from Saturday evening to this morning. As much as this truck (toy) cost it should come with a 24 hour technician...

Haha...me too! After fullrace intercooler install. Good news is that it hasn’t happened since I tightened everything up ten months ago.

How did you get yours for $66k?
I need to follow you around and learn negotiation techniques!

Here in the Seattle area, dealers are charging $10-$20k Premiums for the damn things and they move them.

This is not an endorsement of this dealer, Just an example of local pricing. I did get my truck here last week, but I caught an '18 leftover so got it for basically MSRP (can't believe I was happy about that).

Got it at MSRp, the rest was tax and tag, the dealer threw in a free undercoating, and no dealers add on fees. Has to order, and wait 5 months for delivery.

Deals are out there.

I got my 802a SCAB for $63.5k (sticker) back in February 2017. Sales guy tried to get me for $7k over, as other local dealers were selling between $10-20k over, but I told him I'd just order it again elsewhere. An hour later he caved. Part of it is market and part of it is sticking to your guns. Some dealers won't deal - probably helped I had ordered a Supercab.

go to vegas for a truck. you'll pay sticker at most, all day. Buddy of mine from OC just did the same. he paid 30K less than he would have in cali.
