Not sure how interested you would be in waiting but you might holler at RPG about the new system that they are developing on Chris Ross' truck. Sounds like it is going to have a few more inches of travel and keeps the stock width of the front end. Unless you really want the extra two inches on both sides. And if that be the case then the Brenthal kit looks pretty solid. Just my $.02 for what it's worth.

Didn't someone on here say that the one black Brenthel kit truck, had something weird going on where the bumb stop hits the lower control arm? Like the lower control arm was getting bashed in or something. I really like the Brenthel kit too but I'm waiting on RPG's kit. What do I know though? I've never even driven a raptor before but I just went out and ordered one for my own birthday present, joined this forum, gathered ideas from you guys, and looking forward to doing some sweet mods to the rig when it gets here.

Oh and if you are cool with the added two inches of width on each side and having to do fiberglass fenders and bypasses and coilovers both in the front already then I would look at the Outlaw Raptor setup. Rick (SPRSNK) has beat the everliving dog shit out of this setup and it holds up nice. Not to mention Outlaw themselves beating the hell out of it on all of the Raptor Expeditions.

I know someone with a brenthel kit with thousands of Baja miles. No issues. It's a solid kit. From a well reputed company.

That was me. I wouldn't say it was bashed but well used to say the least. Regardless, talking to the owner, he was happy with the kit and work Brenthel did on his truck.

Ah. Ok. I do like the kit from what I can see on they're website. I know the idea of these kits is to not lift the truck but I wish that lower control arm was a little straighter kinda like the outlaw kit. It seems if they straightened that control arm that it would lift the truck quite a bit and possibly get more up travel?

Personally I would wait until RPG unveils their kit and then compare the two options at that point in time.

I am going insane waiting for the day they do. Not that I'll be able to buy it right away, but I'm going to be saving like a madman for it.:emotions122:
