have you not been reading this thread? Clearly not.

Go back to bed.

ford ditched the reliable, simple way of doing it. For the IWE. tell me how that makes sense. It has no added benefits, only negatives. GG ford, GG.

I've read the entire thread and you just bottom lined it for me, when pressed on the warranty issue. All solutions have compromises and you'd prefer to step back in time 29 years to locking hubs and carbs.

Plus you actually believe Ford makes foolish, short sighted, business decisions to screw you over and make more money.

"Dear Ford, please to change your engineering, so I can screw up my truck and not have issues, or I'll whine real hard."

Stay in bed.

Go back 29 years? uhm... you realize EVERYONE else is still using a live axle setup right.... you dont have to go anywhere. they use it, because it friggin works. there ARE NO downsides when compared to what is available now on f150's. there are only positives.

as for your whole "Dear Ford, please to change your engineering, so I can screw up my truck and not have issues, or I'll whine real hard."

what the hell are you talking about? "screw up my trucks and not have issues" in what world does ******** up a truck, take away issues...... FIXING a truck would take away issues. as in Getting rid of the proven to be junk IWE. Improving how something works is not "******** up" anything.

Not going to happen and if it's because of your modifications then the entire issue is on you and not Ford.

Let's see, Ford I want you to design an IWE alternative so I can screw up my truck and have everything work properly. Like that is going to fly.

I concur. As you upgrade you find the next weakest link. I.E. the big sore thumb is the IWEs for me at least at this point. However, even stock the IWEs pretty well suck... Pun intended. But, as in Fords viewpoint live axles are a bad idea.

...Not directed toward you, mainly my "opposition", if no one wants to help further this idea... Please please please, start your own thread or divert your opinions to the forefather thread.

I know a lot about a lot of stuff, however 4WD isn't one of them or I'd contribute more to the topic with ideas.

I'm interested in learning more. Sorry if my posts hijacked your thread, it's just that the FSA types can get under my skin.

Hey Dan, I'll throw something into the pile. I'm following closely, and when the Jen2 tools finally take a hike, I'll be glad to participate and contribute. Too bad there isn't a Gen1 locked section so we could all discuss things like they used to be around here.......
