The raptor is by far the most difficult vehicle I have ever had to pick a wheel/tire combo for. I feel the wheel should have a "race look" and not be too flashy/shiny. The method standards would be a perfect choice but the selection in 20" diameters don't allow the aggressive stance I am looking for.

Looking at Black...

1. 20x9 xd addicts -12 offset
2. 20x9 Fuel Octane +1 offset

Tires are another issue, I want something light and decently quiet with an aggressive tread, and light...

1. 35x12.5x20 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ - Aggressive tread design for an AT
2. 325/60/20 Goodyear Duratracs - These tires worry me on low offset wheels.

If anyone has more input, let me know...

I personally wouldn't go with 20" wheels. It stiffens up the sidewall of the tire and is going to reduce ride quality on and off road.

I have 20"s and the ride quality is fine, ijs. the top perch mod was a much more noticeable change in ride quality. stay away from negative offset wheels you will rub.

Im -6 and dont have any rubbing. And yes, i've been at full compression and there are no problems.

I am thinking another -6mm would be ok if I went with the XD Addicts. I think alot of it depends on how aggressive the tire is as well.

I see you have pro comp wheels. I forgot about those, I had the 7005's on my old jeep.

I kind of dig these, zero offset too...

wow, for a +25 offset, I like the stance....

Exactly, I thought I needed 0 to +18 to get the look I wanted but no. It also has a lot to do with the tire size you choose. I have no rubbing at full lock and full compression.

Are you at stock perch? What tire size? If you go to middle perch+ or retain stock tire size then its possible you will be OK but most go a tire size up and stay at stock perch height. Its a bad combo. Plus you're begging for trouble down the road with wheel bearings. It just isn't proper
