Hey all,
I figger I will prolly never spend the money on new wheels or a tuner or any other mods on my truck. I am to old for that crap! Its gonna be a 7-10 year beater like my 04 FX4 was. So I plan on keeping it. That being said, I decided to buy the Ford Premium Care extended warranty.
I figgered if a few window motor regulators crap out like they did on my FX4, 3 of them, that it would pay for itself. I went with the 72 month / 100,000 mile with no rent car. I did it just shy of 12,000 miles. My total cost was $1280.00. You can get the warranty up through your standard warranty period but the more miles and more time the price goes up a little. The delete on the rent car paid for another year.
When I bought my Raptor the dealer said they get $2200 for the warranty. I talked them down to about the same as Randy's offer when I was making my deal. They said that price was only good if I did it when I bought it. Well guess what? AHhahaaaaaaa.
So for those of you thinking about an insurance policy against mechanical, electrical issues down the road, the price is not bad. Hell, just to replace the NAV would prolly be $2500! I emailed Randy and he responded swiftly. He shot me a few quotes when I would ask this or that. When it was all said and done all I had to do was call his affiliate dealer and give them my credit card info. Randy had all the paperwork handled. Sweet! I called Kim and she handled everything. She seems like a sweetheart on the phone. Even put up with me calling her an Okie! AHhahaaaaaaaaaa.
So thanks Randy. I am now protected. Don't wanna hit the road and not have protection with ya! HAhaaaaaa.
