I just installed the Borla Atak midsection and kept my stock down pipes. I’m happy with the sound. It’s tame while idle, however when you get on the accelerator you know it...it’s definitely Harley Davidson loud. With that said...does anyone know about the exhaust making a random popping noise at idle after you accelerate? It doesn’t happen often but curious if this is normal with a cat back system or if this is problematic. I installed this myself and followed the instructions to the letter. Any help, advice, or experience appreciated!

I have a Corsa setup on mine, but I too am getting the pops on deceleration. Weird thing is its the same exact exhaust I had on my 2018 with no pops (except for after filling up with gas), but now that the system is on my 2020 it pops.

I’ve not had that experience. Absolutely love my Borla ATAK. Best money I’ve spent and by far my favorite mod. Sound is all personal but this one is PERFECT for me. Well mannered and quiet when cruising but nice n throaty when accelerating. I’m not having the random popping mentioned.

I have the Atak mid section too! just straight through all the way to the tips in the back and it back fires sometimes lol, sounds like gun fire. I've been meaning to call Borla and ask them if this is OK? and also ask about the resonator to muffle the fart can noise when accelerating mid throttle, down low it sounds good and if you really floor it when the pipes are hot or if your in sport mode that God awful noise doesn't happen.
