While I'm not new to SVT trucks (previous Lightning owner), I finally corrected a mistake I made in 2011 when I went with an EcoBoost Platinum instead of just getting a Raptor in the first place...

So here I am, three years later, and I'm just amazed that my 2014 Raptor fits in my garage. I only have about 150 miles on the truck since buying it last Saturday but so far it is hands down worth every penny... now ask me this again after I try to wash it for the first time.

Finally took a picture. It is a black Raptor without the graphics package, with the 801A package, with the power moonroof and the factory spray-in bed liner. Most of the accessories I had on the Platinum fit the Raptor (like the BakFlip F1, WeatherTech floor mats and in-channel rain guards) so that made the deal just that much sweeter.

Congrats on the new purchase. I also got rid of my 2011 King Ranch for my new raptor. What part of Missouri are you from?

Good choice! I'm a previous Lightning owner as well - black 95 and black 01. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a black Raptor...except when it comes to washing. :buffer:

Whiteman AFB/Warrensburg area.

Nice! I'm went to high school in Moberly and college at Mizzou. I had a lot of friends that ran track/CC in Warrensburg. Are you in the air force? My dad served over 20 years and Whiteman was part of the reason we moved to MO.

I once got pulled over on 13 heading to Warrensburg on my way to a Halloween party, in costume. The officer looked into the window and busted up laughing. Cleared his face and then asked his partner to check my friend's ID on the other side. When that guy looked in the car, he started cracking up. I was in college and wearing a 12 year old's Superman costume, which was WAY too small, and my friend was dressed as Dirk Diggler with chest hair drawn on with mascara.

Welcome!
