Hey y'all, I have been thinking about getting my hood and roof covered in black vinyl. Wondering if anyone had any pictures of theirs with this. The vinyl wouldn't go all the way to the outside of the hood, just out to the edge of the raised portion. Also does anyone have any input on how much different the paint would be if I ever peeled the vinyl back off?

This pic is the only one I could findytugedam.jpg

This is my truck that i did a month ago. My opinion would be to not do a "matte black". The matte does have a little gray look to it. I used 3m scotchprint deep matte black. You get the flat black look without as much of the gray tiny. I don't have the best pice but here you go.

Looks awesome dude.. I know I'll love the look, I'm just worried if it will be discolored if I ever decided to remove it. Guess I just won't remove it lol

The wraps last about 5 years then they need to be removed and or replaced. When that time comes for me ill be doing the same to it. I think it looks way better with than without the wrap.

I also painted my bumpers and fender flares with plastidip. The gray looks bad with the blue and black.

Sounds like I'm gonna do the same. Would you mind ball parking what a fair price would be to have that done? I've never looked into wraps before and don't want to get screwed

For hood and roof?

I'm thinking closer to $800.

You got to call around and get some estimates.

Looks great. Now black out the third brake light with some night shade.
