JL Audio 5x7 speakers are a direct fit for our trucks. I got C3-570 speakers installed in the front, C2-570x in the rear, SSI and CleanSweep, and 2 10" JL TW3 subwoofers installed by Noah of The Car Stereo Company at Raptoberfest last year. I'm extremely please with the sound quality, output, and installation. Highly recommended.

Best fit is JL Audio. Best sound is subjective. A lot of people like Focal, but I'm not a huge fan. Focal makes a fantastic speaker, but they're too bright for my liking. Hell, I even had Noah adjust my JLs because they were a little too bright for what I like.

Yes. I went with the C3-570 in the front which has separate components. Speaker in door, crossovers under the seat, and tweeter in the factory location. I went with the C2-570x in the rear that is just one unit with everything built in.

here, on frf
yeah. yeah, im here now. haha.

jl audio has a great drop in fit for their 5x7 line. they have 4 different 5x7 speakers you can choose from. and each one will be much better than the oem. depending on how extensive you want your system, will determine what type of sound quality you will get. if you are looking for an sq setup, you will need a different sound processor. i will be using the mosconi 6to8 in my truck. this allows for seperate tuning of each individual speaker allowing for an infinite array of adjustments. doing a basic sound processor you wont have the extensive tuning capabilities, but it is a huge increase over the oem system. as for the sub, either a jl audio 10tw3 will fit or the audiomobile gts. i will be running 2 of the audiomobile in my truck. but due to different rear seat heights, the jl will be the best bet for the supercabs.
