You "should" have enough room. I have a pretty thick IC behind my grille (Ecoboost) and with a properly made bracket, I don't think you'll have an issue.

A different set up than I was thinking.

For optimal space, maybe a 30" bar could be run on a bracket made on the back side of the grille? The light would be right up against the grille and would be attached to the grille bracket rather than the truck. I envision a significant increase in space with a modification like this. Not sure if there would be enough room for a trans cooler, though.

Someone put a 30" curved bar on the backside of the grill and that looked awesome.

I've been contemplating this same issue. I've got a 40" behind the grill, deciding on the Hellion Turbo Kit or the Whipple. One way or the other, I'm assuming my 40" is going to have to move.

I really don't want a light rack or a roof light, and I know Im getting rid of my stock bumper. Kind of limiting my lighting choices

Wont fit unless you go down to a 30in and do some major changes to the light bar. i mounted a 30in kc bar in my lower and had to cut most of the fins off the back of the light to get it to fit in in front of the intercooler with the roush set up.
