Heavy driving in the rain can and does splash a little water in. Could seal them then how would something that does leak inside get out? The front has easy access to my tools, off-road recovery and just about everything you could think of to help others get out of where they shouldn't be driving in the first place. Carried heavy shit on top also, lots of firewood and even new set of tires and wheels. The 6 cleats that came on it really can help secure anything on top. Really wish they still made them like this one.</p></blockquote><p></p>
