And my dealer has only received 1 out of 7 units, and it had the beadlocks (other trucks I mentioned with standard wheels came from my more local Cda dealership). So, every time I have ever approached my selling dealer, they always point out that the only truck they've ever seen for the '17 Raptor year came with the supposed-to-be-commodity-constrained-wheels.

Just ludicrous how this Whole process is going. The dealer with the 3 with beadlocks had a total of 4 allocations. so they have gotten 75% of there allocations delivered. They are trying to get $25,000 over MSRP as well. Needless to say I didn't order from them.

I had both the wheels and CF interior optioned on mine. Dealer called last week and said Ford rep indicated that if I removed those options they could send it to production right away so i chucked them.

And I don't blame you. It was just really hard for me to chuck my wheels when the dealer kept basically saying, "What in the hell are you talking about? There is no issue with getting those forged wheels....". So I kept them. It's true, I will likely end up waiting at least 9 months.....but mine should arrive just about the time the roads get cleaned up and repaired a bit. Just like with Cool_Racer_79, I'm not interested in thrashing my truck off road, I'll leave that to my ATV's and side x sides. I'm interested in the look, on road performance, and fantastic residual values (had a '13 and a '14). I'm interested because not everyone has a Raptor, just like many of the Raptors will not have the beadlock wheels :) .

Go here and click CF and or BL and you can see quantities by month. They definitely slowed down quantity of both, but still building them.

That's what I told my dealer. I KNOW they are still getting built with beadlocks, so I'm not dropping them... It's a $70K truck, and I want it the way I want it... It shouldn't be this hard...

That's a great site. Interesting to see all of the breakdowns.

As far as the beadlocks go, I heard it was a regional allocation. Only certain regions were going to get them from here on out. I don't remember where I saw or heard that and can't find anything to back it up, but that's how I remember it.

Certainly could be the case, as lots of people are getting calls, specifically telling customers that their orders would not be pulled unless they relinquished their carbon fiber and/or beadlocks. And then there are people in my situation, where their dealer continually shakes their head, continually says, "No. Let me say it again. There is no constraint on your forged wheels. All we have gotten so far are trucks equipped with forged wheels.....", shaking head again.....

Great news Autophanatic -glad you finally got scheduled. I assume you got a vin at the same time and confirmed with Ford Service on FB the status change? That's gotta be a good feeling.

Hang in there guys- I ordered in Aug and took delivery on Tuesday night of my new truck with BL and CF! It's pretty awesome to finally have it. I'll post some initial impressions and likes/dislikes when I get back to it in a few weeks...have to suffer thru a trip to mexico first :)

Quickly though, overall the truck is awesome...it's better than expected as many have said, and the pics dont do it justice. The magnetic paint was the biggest happy surprise...the pics on the net don't show just how much metal flake there is in that paint..it's extremely metallic and has a lot more sparkle and pop than I was expecting. One thing that's annoying is that they put the window switches on the drivers door wayyy too far forward..i have to actually lean forward off the driver's seat to reach them...first vehicle I have ever had that had such awkward placement. I can't believe how quiet the truck is either..amazingly quiet interior and smooth ride. Did all the forscan changes, that was easy too. Hang in there guys!
