So with this being said, if a battery has a slightly less aH rating but a higher CCA it should work fine for the Gen 3? I really like the X2 Power Extreme battery from Batteries Plus Bulbs. The real reason is that it has a 4-year warranty. I ran these on my Jeep and just like [USER=7124]@The Car Stereo Company[/USER] said, even with the highest level AGM which I consider to be the Optima Yellow Top, you still can only really get 4 years out of a battery if you are running it hard or with extras. So it's essentially a high-level CCA with a 78aH battery but that extra year will get you a brand-new replacement battery. In my jeep when the warranty got close to ending the battery just needed a little bit of extra roughness with the lights and air compressor to completely kill it. It's a buy one get one free in 4 years I guess.
