The metal ends are predrilled, but the back panel is not. I forget if it's self tappers or what, but I assembled it so it was a hair wider then the bed, so it has a tension force pushing outwards at all times and never had an issue.Well since the OP was about the bakbox falling off in regular driving and not even offroading, I'd say my opinion on the bakbox does count for the 2 cents its worth. And just because I tout my truck as a "street queen" doesn't mean I've never had some fun with it. I've had fun with it putting the full suspension travel to work, hitting whooptie dos or whatever the hell their called shaking everything around, doing donuts in the snow, power sliding through the dirt, never had the bakbox fall out a single time in 29k miles, but I still call it a street queen since it's daily driven on the street, and only fooled around offroad maybe a handful of times a year for about 5-10 mins at a time. Doesn't mean the bakbox would last on a raptor run, I think it'd be unrealistic to expect that, but depending how it's installed it'll definitely hold up to some jarring around, and most certainly DD use.
