I'm on the fence. I really like the F1, but like that the Roll X doesn't obstruct your rear view as much as the F1 when rolled up. The F1 seems/looks more sturdy than the Roll X. Morrie says the Roll X is more water tight than the F1. Does anyone have the Roll X?

Just ordered my RollX from Morrie today. They updated the rail system in the last week. I don't know what they did but he swears by it. So much he's putting a dedicated marketing campaign behind the Roll X.

I have no experience with either, but reviews here on both are overwhelmingly positive.

If you like the panel design though, take a look at the far less popular but no less killer FoldACover. As you mentioned, blocking the view out the rear wasn't an option for me. The way the FoldACover works results is zero blockage.

My Roll-X is awesome.

I get a tiny amount of water seepage on each corner up at the bulkhead. I was going to call Morrie and see if it's easy to fix. Even if not, it's really not much water at all.

If it's been snowing or is wet, the Roll-x can freeze shut. You can get it open, but it's work. And don't roll it up with snow on it - it will stick to the cover and then dump in the bed.

I'd say it is everything I was looking for and more.

I put a Roll-X on my son's 2011 FX2 last summer. Keeps everthing dry and secure going back and forth to college. I have a Roll-X sitting in the garage to put on my Raptor this weekend.

Both are great and you can't go wrong with either. I purchased the F1 as it is a little sturdier over all but the ease of the RX is very cool. You can't go wrong really.

Morrie is a character and great to deal with, even after a delivery snafoo.
