Any way to add the B&O amp to a base 801a radio.

assuming, need amp / harness and Forscan



Anything is possible but you can have a better system than the B&O for less money by going aftermarket.

An option would be to get a harness for your truck. I believe you need the CARAV 12-240. I used this on my 2018. (You need this if you don't want to cut the factory harness)
Run the signal (using the new harness) to a sound processor so you can get the sound you are looking for, crossovers, EQ , summing time alignment etc.. (I used the Audio Control DM-608) From the processor you can run RCAs or optical to your amp.
It works great and sounds very good. I know there are much better setups out there but for me it seems it will do everything I need.
I still have plenty of tuning to do and am still learning this processor. I used an Alpine PDX-V9 for power.
I think this was still cheaper then the Kicker sound stage which is suppose to sound pretty good. I have a lot more power and tun-ability as well.
