Azure Gray stats, Autotrader March 2025

Ford doesn't share production data (at least lately anyway), so I searched and tallied a sample on Autotrader.com this month to get Azure Gray stats. These include both private sale and dealer ads from Autotrader and nowhere else. Here are what I counted:

In all Autotrader 2023 Used Raptor for sale listings of March 2025, 590 units are for sale. Findings:

• 8.6% (51 units) of the 590 were Azure Gray color
• 0.8% (5 units) of the 590 were Azure Gray R's
• 7.8% (46 units) of the 590 were Azure Gray 3.5TT's
• 1.2% (7 units) of the 590 were Azure's with no sunroof (potential bias: theory non-roofs more likely to be kept?)

In all the 51 Autotrader 2023 Used Azure Gray Raptor for sale listings of March 2025, findings:

• 9.8% are R's
• 2% R's with no sunroof
• 13.7% are 3.5TT's with no sunroof

Assuming this Autotrader 1 month sample, you can run numbers with assumptions e.g. 45,000 total Raptor 2023 production run to figure how things boil down.

btw, when searching only for "color red" 26 units were found for sale, and 58 when searching "orange". So in this 590 units sample looked like red is rarest.

Anecdotally, ~1% of raptors being built without sunroofs seems about right.
No sunroofs, and blue, were my absolute requirements, and let me tell you that the search was difficult at best. I only came across a couple during my nationwide search.

Same, I wanted non-sunroof Silver or Azure (for 2023 they stopped making Atlas - that was originally my first choice).
What I found in Autotrader this month was that of all the 51 Azure's for sale, 7 (or 14%) didn't have a sunroof. Then of all 590 Raptors for sale, those same 7 units of Azure non-sunroof were only 1% of that 590.
I could see that being same with the Blue also - of all Raptors for sale only 1% may be Atlas Blue w/o sunroof.

I manually counted them, there's gotta be an easier way.

I spent months looking for a 23 Avalanche without a sunroof, and the last time I checked there was only one for sale. Might as well be looking for a unicorn. I gave up and got one with a sunroof.

Before I got my truck last month I could only find 3 for sale nationwide spec'd the same. Azure, 37pp, recaro. Hell, any color, once you stack the 37pp and recaro in the mix it drops the number of trucks available to near none.
